After the Pink Slip

I'm back and doing what I do best... guiding others to their success.
After receiving a corporate pink slip in March, I was reminded that my heart's desire is a little flame that is ready to be fanned and grow into a bon-fire!

Come along with me, and you'll find success too.

Bob Proctor notes that Earl Nightingale summed it up best when he said...
SUCCESS is the progressive realization of a worthy ideal.

What's your worthy ideal? How will you progressively realize it?
That's what I do....keep you on the path to realize your success.

Please post soon.

Why have a coach?

Many people believe that hard work and doing it on their own are the keys to finding the quality of life, success, money or happiness that they seek. They believe that a price must be paid to attain what they want and often that price is poor health, not having enough time to enjoy life, strained family relationships, and lessened productivity. The saddest part is that, even though this effort may result in more of something, it is often not the “something” they had in mind.

Athletes and performers know about this trap. They know that they need someone else, a “trained” someone else, to guide them to set goals, discover real needs, and work effectively toward excellence, and they are willing to invest in a coach or a teacher. No serious athlete or musician would expect to progress very far without one.
A coaching process assists individuals to achieve excellence and balance in their lives.
Results clients can look forward to achieving include:

Better goal setting
More balanced lives
Lower stress levels
Increased confidence
Improved quality of life
Enhanced communication skills
Improved health or fitness levels
Better relationships with co-workers
Better family relationships

Your Success is Just Around The Bend...

Do you ever feel like you haven't tapped into your full potential?

Is there a huge gap between where you are and where you want to be?

Do you know you could get there, if only you knew the way?

Could it be as simple as having a guide on the side? Someone or something to help you stay the course?

What would you set out to accomplish if you knew you wouldn't fail?

What are you waiting for?

We guide people to identify and achieve their most awesome goals by providing a proven structure and processes that awaken desire, create direction, drive action, and sustain consistent application.
We Believe in You!
Here at Miller Institute, we believe people are the world's most valuable resource. A dynamic firm dedicated to developing human resources, we focus on personal, professional, and financial growth and success of individuals and organizations.

People make the difference. More than any other variable, the development of human resources is key to greater growth and profits for both the individual and the organization. Henry Ford once said, "You can take my factories, burn my buildings, but give me people and I will build the business right back again."
We believe people will willingly accomplish great things given the right support, the right tools, and the right kind of leadership.

At Miller Institute, we don't believe people rise to their level of incompetence. We believe most people have a great deal of potential they're just not using. Tremendous gains are achieved as people tap into and utilize their unique, natural talents and strengths.

Our company exists in support of these beliefs — to help people discover and develop their potential, and to put that potential into action..

We facilitate success - for you and for the world.
So, stop waiting - take action!

Time Management Is A Waste of Time!

Is time management driving you crazy? Do particular flaws in standard time management techniques cause you to revert right back to square one?

Time management was supposed to save you time. Yet the more time saving devices you have the more overwhelmed you seem to be. And yes, you've attended every workshop. Done all the training. So why do you go back to your old ways? Why can't you seem to manage time like you had hoped? Could it be that time management is a problem in itself?

Time Management is a Waste of Time!

Look, you’ve tried all of the latest time managing techniques and practices, the fancy planners, the high tech electronic gadgets, the integrated software, all designed to help you manage the hours. How did they work for you?Sure, these efficiency tools may help for a while. You're going along feeling in control until one day, poof! What happens? You’re running in circles again back where you started, or worse!

Some of you might think you’re getting really good at managing time. You appear neat, well organized, and on time. However, what are you actually managing? Hours? Blocks on a sheet of paper? To-do lists in your hand-held? A better system focuses on managing self and purpose instead.

Yes! I WANT TO LEARN MORE!

Until next time...........

Success Your Way

I am a huge believer of using your natural strengths and talents.
Why struggle with those darn weaknesses?

Here's the formula: Strengthen your strengths and manage around your weaknesses. See, a weakness is only a weakness if it is keeping you from the result you want. So, to manage around a weakness, authors Clifton and Buckingham suggest: try a bit harder, get a partner to bring to the table what you don't, put into place a support system to deal with it, use one of your strengths to work through it, or just realize and accept it! (See the wonderful book, Now Discover Your Strengths, available through Jane's reading list: http://www.millerinstitute.com/readinglist.htm

So, to enjoy authentic success, use what bring ya! Check back tommorow for an e-book on this very subject!
